Heeres's Brian - Attorney Brian Simon has always seized the podium with a true advocate's zeal, and a comic's heart.  He now has a professional outlet for his love of stand-up and comedy writing, courtesy of National Lampoon's Underground Comedy Club, Fort Lauderdale.  Brian will be serving as the MC for tomorrow night's three comic act, headlined by Comedy Central's Chuck Booms, and for Friday & Saturday's programs too.  Club owner Allan said any friend of Brian's who calls ahead will get a two for one admission for Thursday's nearly sold-out show, and a free pass for the weekend shows.  Make sure you stop on by, before Jay Leno steals Brian's gig too ... "If the jury comes back not guilty, I'm going to slit my throat" - who said that?  A victim?  A prosecutor?  No, Judge Kathleen Ireland is reported to have uttered words to that effect today, after a jury retired for deliberations on a DUI charge...continue to full post
