SS: Agencies clear two Sunrise officers accused of brutality "The officers arrested teenager Ewan Rose on Oct. 9, more than a year after his acquittal in a sexual battery case. Rose, then 18, was charged with loitering, battery on a police officer, and resisting arrest with violence. The Broward State Attorney's Office declined to prosecute Rose. (Rose) claimed the officers arrested him on false charges, and took him to a secluded spot to beat him up ... Jeff Ivashuk, attorney for Rose, accused the State Attorney's Office of applying a double standard when it comes to police officers.
