The election of Barack Obama is sure to provoke an avalanche of stupidity and vitriol from the right wing. Let's post some of it, shall we? Here's the first bit of idiocy I encountered. I'm sure you'll be shocked to hear that I found it at the Worldnutdaily, written by some clueless dolt named Mark Crutcher:

We should have listened. But we didn't, and soon the most powerful political office in the world will be handed over to an avowed socialist. This morning, in some fetid corner of hell, Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin and Joe Stalin are toasting each other.
