Attending ICEID? Visit Us At Booth 704!

The International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases (ICEID 2010) gets underway in Atlanta Sunday through Wednesday, July 11-14, and the 2,500 people attending all know who they are.  

The bi-annual meeting of public health specialists, infectious disease physicians, and researchers, epidemiologists, military infectious diseases and emergency preparedness personnel, and others involved in infectious diseases will exchange scientific and public health information on emerging global infectious disease issues.

What the attendees may not know is where they can find Food Safety News, the Foodborne Illness Outbreak Database, and Real Raw Milk Facts, the information sites sponsored by the Seattle food safety law firm Marler Clark.   ICEID participants can find information on those valuable resources in the Grand Hall East, Booth 704.

ICEID is sponsored by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE), the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), the World Health Organization, and the American Society for Microbiology (ASM).  Over three days, the conference will cover:

-Foodborne and Waterborne Illnesses

-Molecular Diagnostics and Epidemiology

-Nosocomial Infections

-Socio-economic and Political Factors

Just remember visiting Booth 704 will be the only thing at the conference that will truly be contagious.
