Dr. Mirza Tihir is a true angel to the refugees he serves in his town of Syracuse, New York. And he certainly can relate to their story as he too is a refugee. Dr. Tihic lost more than 60 relatives to the "ethnic cleansing" in Serbia in the 1990s including his grandfather. He is now program manager of entreprenuerial practice at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
