By Johanna Gibson, David Pearce, Jeremy Phillips and Ilanah Simon.
ADVERTISEMENTS
The IPKat was a little premature in announcing last month that Montenegro had become available as an extension state for European patents. As the EPO has only recently announced, this will in fact not happen until 1 March 2010. It will be then be possible for European (and PCT) applications to designate Montenegro. More details are available from the EPO here.Famous Montenegrins here and here.
