Fletcher's nice deal
Somebody should send subpoenas. A state legislative committee should demand explanations, under oath, from Ernie Fletcher, Mark Birdwhistell and Walter May.
Here's the news story that prompted the letter to the editor:
Fletcher hired after hospital got $3.4M from Ky.
The E. Ky. hospital that has hired former Gov. Ernie Fletcher as a consultant got a $3.4 million state settlement in the final weeks of the his administration for disputed Medicaid claims.
I have heard one suggestion that the former Governor should considering combining his passion for preaching with his profession for medicine and do a mission medical trip to Africa or some other place in need of doctors for a year which might do wonders for his reputation and career.
