I absolutely love that it’s light out when I get home from work right now.

Speaking of work, today was the first day on the job. More or less exactly what I expected, a little better in some spots. I’m sure I’ll have more to say about this at some point in the not-too-distant future.

For now, suffice it to say that it’s nice to be back out and doing something. I’m not so sure Scout agrees, but I’m doing what I can to keep him exercised since the new salary doesn’t provide quite as much for extravagant things like dog walkers.

Other things of note that are going on: Ara, Kecia, and Reese are coming to town this weekend. I’m trying to figure out what to do with them while they’re here. Besides spoiling my adorable niece completely rotten, of course.
