: ButterflyfishMILP #62: Conventional Wisdom
Next week, it'll be back at PT-LawMom's place. Probably. I think.
The last two weeks have seen the Democratic and Republican National Conventions come and go. I don't think any of the MILS/MILPs would characterize herself as a political blogger, but whether it was the Palin pick or the Obama speech, almost every one found herself commenting in some way, if only peripherally to her usual balance of blogging about work/ school/ family/ kids/ shoes.
I am honored to present the next President of the United . . . er . . . this week's theme: Conventional Wisdom, or Lack Thereof
Magic Cookie. The meaning of the rhetoric.
Googie baba. Palin: "hunting polar bears and hunting terrorist is totally the same thing."
Angry Pregnant Lawyer. Obama: loving him can hurt.
Andrea (Peanut Butter Burrito). Debating a lady.
Zuska. Palin: call her anything but shrill.
Legally Certifiable. Palin: the next Harriet Miers?
Lag Liv. A lawyer* takes time to choose her words carefully... so no words yet.
Butterflyfish. Extensive and thoughtful political commentary.
PtLawmom. Girl Power: Nothing to do with Palin!
In other news:
Welcome the latest Lawbaby, Cee Palmer's little one.
Breaking news: Is Trannyhead pregnant?

Hat tip as always to the ?original? Roundup ? Evan Schaeffer?s Legal Underground and his co-rounder-upper, Nobody! And of course, to the founder of this round-up, Saramel (retired)... which is going to become one of the most regularly linked-to defunct blogs in history. Just sayin'. I drop stuff down here occasionally to see if anyone ever reads it.
