: Shelley’s CasePassion! Not Poisson!
By shell
It has been nearly 1-1/2 months since I began the externship. I have been humbled by the complexity of the health care organization and I certainly have learned a lot about decision-making process. On top of this newfound knowledge, I really enjoy working with the people there - cordial, dedicated, smart as whip.In re-evaluating my thoughts about working in this particular niche of the health care sector, however, I am not sure if this would be the ideal career choice for me. I am curious and interested in learning about the process, yet I am lacking passion. Some people eat, breathe, and preach philosophy. I am not sure I am willing to let the professional aspect permeate into my non-professional life. Will re-evaluate in a few more weeks.
