Charity Challenge for Haiti

Over at Prawfs, Dan Markel is issuing a charity challenge for Haiti: ?With this post, we?re issuing a challenge. For now, our family will match contributions until they sum up to total of $1200.? I just donated $500 to the American Red Cross in response to Dan?s challenge, and I hope you will consider giving, too. (I realize it?s sort of cheesy to announce one?s donations, rather than just to give silently; my hope is that setting an example publicly makes folks more likely to give.)
