After getting hit on Monday with an $8 billion judgment by an Ecuadorian court, Chevron went before Manhattan federal district court judge Lewis Kaplan to try to stop the enforcement of the award. Appearing for the first time for plaintiffs lawyer Steven Donziger, John Keker told the court that he planned to look into "issues of assignment and recusal."
