Chris Thorne, a partner in the Exeter office of Foot Anstey, acted for the six male cancer patients whose frozen sperm samples were destroyed when the freezer storing them broke down. In a landmark ruling the Court of Appeal ruled that they were entitled to claim damages for the loss.
