New partner at Michelman & Robinson

Michelman & Robinson, LLP, has announced that Mark H. Zafrin has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate & Securities Department. Mr. Zafrin will divide his time between M&R's New York and Los Angeles offices.

Mr. Zafrin specializes in advising healthcare providers and lending institutions on matters involving the financing, lending and leasing of medical management facilities. He has successfully represented healthcare providers in a broad range of dealings involving conventional and HUD insured financing, loan origination and restructuring, debt and equity secured transactions, as well as the purchase, financing and leasing of facility properties.

Prior to joining M&R, Mr. Zafrin was a partner at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einberg, LLP in its Lake Success office. At Abrams, he chaired the Firm's Corporate & Securities Department and directed its Commercial Lending Department. Mr. Zafrin earned his Bachelor of Arts from St. John's University in 1977 and received his law degree from New York School of Law in 1980.
