More information on the entities behind Evony—which recently dropped a libel suit against blogger Bruce Everiss—has emerged, thanks to a rare interview with two of its executives.

Ars Technica, which published a long expose on Evony last week, actually received a call back from Evony personnel following the publication of its article, and managed to wrangle some additional information on the company and the discarded lawsuit.

Benjamin Gifford, who took the stand in Everiss' trial, where he was billed as Evony, LLC's Vice Development Director, reiterated a previous claim that Evony dropped the lawsuit against Everiss as a result of complaints from players of the game.
