Sicilian Woman Gets Robbed in Pet Society Home

Here's a weird story. Someone has broken into Paola Letizia's home and lifted all of her favorite things. Naturally she's called the police. But the house that was robbed is inside the Facebook game Pet Society. According to Metro.co.uk, the thief hacked into the woman's Facebook and email accounts and managed to walk away with all of the woman's virtual decorations. The only thing left in the house by the thief was a fuzzy blue cat. The woman apparently spent £88 in virtual goods for her house.

"I don't think it matters that the flat only exists in Facebook. It is real to me and I have suffered a real loss." Ms Letizia, of Palermo in Sicily, told Italian media. She added that she felt "as if someone had violated my privacy and my habits" after the hacker stole her password and tampered with her Facebook page. Read More
