July 2nd was this author's birthday. Among the wonderful calls, cards and Facebook sentiment was a hang up, apparently from Michael Asseff's cell phone at 848pm.

Asseff's company, Structured Asset Funding, is:

1. Still a "fast cash now pusher"
2. Still, in our opinion,  undermining the concept of sound financial planning by advertising that a valid reason for selling structured settlement payment rights for  "fast cash now", is to buy a new car (that looks like a  $100,000+ Ferrari), or a boat.

Michael Asseff is:

• Still listed as one of two managing members of Bentzen Funding Solutions according to the Florida Secretary of State www.Sunbiz.org. Through its "President of Business Development", Rhonda Bentzen , Michael Asseff and his partner have had a unique window into the settlement planning world and the Society of Settlement Planners. Bentzen has been telling folks that she's now backed by a multi-billion dollar publicly held corporation to fund her transactions, but there has been no change in the State of Florida records.

On June 14, 2010 we reported that a pending lawsuit filed by Structured Asset Funding against two of its former employees included sordid allegations against Asseff in the answer and counterclaim and included a copy of one of the defendant's answers. As of June 28, 2010 court records now show "deft joshua c wander's and 1341 capital llc's motion to strike scandalous and impertinent allegations from complaint answer to remainder of complaint and amended counterclaim Party: Defendant Wander, Joshua C. Defendant Oddo was due to be deposed on June 30, 2010 although it is not clear if that proceeded.
