The Rest of the Story

With apologies to the late Paul Harvey, we bring you the "rest of the story" about court administration in Cobb County, Georgia.

Recall that the former court administrator was released from his position (one way or the other) after lewd details surfaced. See Scandal in Cobb County, court-o-rama (August 14, 2008), where one can learn how to avoid such situations.

Now a Connecticut DA is in the Cobb County court. Tom Charron has taken over the position. He has coffee with bailiffs, plans the new courthouse, and generally lives a happy life, if this article is any indication: Ex-DA Feels "Like I Have Come Home," Tucker McQueen, Atlanta Journal-Constitution (March 30, 2009).

Former court administrator Skip Chesshire was never charged, but we guess he won't be administrating courts in that town any time soon.
