Holder?s Wife Reports to Jury Duty

The spouse of the Attorney General is not exempt from jury duty, The Washington Post’s Crime Scene blog reported Thursday.

Sharon Malone, the wife of Attorney General Eric Holder, reported to jury duty at the D.C. Superior Court on Thursday. Malone, a D.C. gynecologist and obstetrician, was closely monitored by a female security guard as she passed the time before an interview with the lawyers and judge for a future trial.

“I’m doing my civic duty,” Malone told the blog.
