NCPA's 26th Mid Year Seminar

By Lynne DeVenny

And 3rd Annual CLA/CP & NCCP Review Course

I am really excited to be presenting at the North Carolina Paralegal Association's upcoming Mid Year Seminar in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina, on Saturday, September 11, 2010. My session, titled "Social Media for Career and Case Development," covers everything from how to create a professional online presence that you can be proud of, to ethical pitfalls to avoid in the ever-changing world of online social networking.

NCPA is also holding its annual CLA/CP and NCCP Review Course at the same venue on Friday, September 10, 2010 and Saturday, September 11, 2010. For anyone preparing to take any of these certification exams, this is a great opportunity to participate in an intensive review session, as well as to meet other paralegals.

Writing this post reminded me to make my hotel reservation. If you're going, I recommend reserving a room now. Several of the paralegal seminars I've been to this year in North Carolina have been so well-attended that some of the attendees found they couldn't get rooms at the last minute.

I hope to see some of you there. I'll be the one with the little red netbook, tweeting away.
