: Practical ParalegalismTGIF: Pachelbel for Cello Blows
By Lynne DeVenny
ADVERTISEMENTS
It's the holiday season, never one of my favorite times of the year. But Pachelbel's Canon in D is one of the few pieces of music that gets me even close to the holiday spirit. I was an orchestra geek in high school (I played the flute and actually still do - at least it isn't bigger than me). Maybe that's why I found Rob Paravonian's rant against this particular piece of music way too funny - and also terribly interesting, because he also kinda explains the origins of all pop music. (Also, as a flutist, I do get to play the melody...)Sing along; these lyrics are GREAT - 'specially if you're feelin' a little frustration at the office :)
