A Connecticut fire alarm company has announced a recall of more than 500 fire alarm control panels that may not sound an alarm during a fire. Fire-Lite Alarms announced the recall this week, and has urged customers to contact them immediately for a free software update. One incident of the alarm not going off during a live fire has been reported.
